Reiju- is the Japanese Kanji meaning: In the Presence of God, The Invisible Omnipresent Creator, At-Onement or Attunement is given, granted, conferred and imparted to us. |

Rei- In the Presence of God, Our Reiki teacher and Our Friend, the Creator of our family in the heavens and the earth |

Ju- At-onement or Attunement is given, granted, conferred and imparted to us. |
Reiju means: In the Presence of God attunements are given to us. This is the first half of the complementary meanings of the word Reiju. The second word for Reiju is also pronounced Reiju but its meaning is slightly different.

The second meaning of Reiju is: In the Presence of God, Attunements are received.
Reiju is about entering God's Presence and the giving and receiving of Attunenment. Reiju is the Attunement process of Of Our One Creator who Re-members us and who gives to us Love and Attunement, At-Onement.
• Rei - means "Divine Love", "Divine Wisdom"
• Ki - (Chi, Prana) means "Vital Energy" or "Life Force Energy" which flows in and through everyone and everything
• Reiki is the essence of Life Energy guided by The Divine Love and Wisdom of Our One Creator.

Reiju Reiki
Reiju is the attunement method used by Dr. Usui. People would just be in his presence and the gift of Reiki Healing would transfer to them. Sometimes he would run his hands through their aura and they would become attuned in that way. As time went by a formal attunement method was developed and from there many forms of Reiki have come about.
In spite of these developments Reiju is how people are attuned. It is the process of attunement or At-onement. Dr. Usui, the founder of modern Reiki, himself experienced Reiju, the presence of God, and received by God's method of Reiju, an attunement. Reiju Reiki flowed through Dr. Usui from then on and through Reiju attunements he shared the gift of Reiki with others.
God is with us, within us and around us as the invisible and unseen ... As the Unmanifested .... As the Tao. Reiju is Union with God therefore we can say that Reiki is the by-product of that constant Union we have with God as we share with one another.
We each can enter into Reiju with Our One Creator with just the slightest intent to experience God's Presence. God is always there waiting for us to Re-member and be Re-Membered.
Reiju is how God Re-Members us and continually attunes us. With just a little bit of willingness, day by day we are attuned and uplifted by God.
Attuned means: to bring in harmony with, to tune, like tuning a musical instrument. God is Omnipresent and is perfectly in Tune with Love. When we spend time with God in Reiju, our strings, chords, strands, meridians and our total subtle anatomy become attuned and begin to vibrate in tune with Our One Creator. We then become instruments of God's Peace as we Re-Member others while in Reiju.
